Davis worked as an occupational therapist in a psychiatric department of local hospital for more than 20 years. He specializes in psychotherapy for common mental disorder, recovery oriented practices for psychiatry, psychiatric rehabilitation and community psychiatric consultation.

In 2011, he received his scholarship from Hospital Authority to study at Yale University about Recovery Oriented Practices. He became lecturer in Hong Kong Polytechnic University and started his private practice since 2014. He has had extensive clinical experience in providing neurofeedback in combination with psychotherapy to treat different mental health conditions such as PTSD, insomnia, depression, anxiety, learning difficulties, attention disorders and Autism Spectrum disorders, ADHD, and Dementia.

In 2018, he pioneered a co-working clinic to lower high technology treatment cost so as to benefit general public. In 2019, he started innovative personalized tDCS and rTMS to help improve client’s peak performance. In 2021, he joined InnoCentre of clinical neuropsychology of HKU for neurofeedback therapy project and development of cutting edge neuroscience technology.
