What is Attention?

Attention is a coordinated network system in the brain that enables us to remain focused and process multiple tasks even in the presence of external distractions. The components of attention are determined based on their clinical significance and include sustained attention and attentional control, which manages selective and divided attention.

Behavioral manifestations of poor attention may include the following
